| 2. How do I distinguish the Monster's level? | |
| The monsters names come in four colors: green, white, red and black. The green named monsters level is much lower than yours; the white ones have almost the same level as you; the red ones are higher than you, and the black ones level is far greater than yours. It is best to avoid these monsters. | |
| 3. Some players attack me, but I can't fight back, why? | |
If you want to PVP, you will need to switch to the PK mode. There are four PK modes in the game:
Free PK mode: you can attack anyone.
Team PK mode: you can attack anyone except team members, friends and Legion members.
Capture PK mode: you can attack monsters, blue named players and black named players.
Peace PK mode: you can only attack monsters. | |

| If you PK others (not blue or black named players), your PK points will increase. When your PK points are over 100, your name will turn black. We encourage PKing in a friendly way. If you decide to continuously PK others, you will be punished and possibly hunted down by other players for a bounty that has been put on your head. | |

| 6. How can I learn skills? Can I level up my skills? | |
| Players can learn skills through skill books, which can be bought through shops in the cities. When you start to learn skills, you must make sure your level has met the requirements for the skill you want. If you want to increase your skill level, you must increase your level. But, not all skills can be leveled up. | |
| 7. How can I set the hotkeys? | |
| Open skill panel, move your mouse on your desired skill and click F1 to F8 to set a hot key. | |
| 8. Why can't I use some of my skills? | |
| The skills in EO are put into one of three categories: active skills, passive skills and XP skills. When you use an active skill you must press the corresponding hotkey to cast it. This will take some of your MP or HP. Passive skills are cast automatically when you are fighting and they won't consume any MP or HP. XP skills can be activated when ready. They are the most powerful skills in the game. | |

| They are skills that inflict the most damage on your enemies. Your XP skills are available after a predesignated amount of time. When the XP bar is full, a light effect will appear indicating that you can now use your XP skill(s). The time of using XP skill is limited. Players can learn an XP skill from a skill book which can be bought from an NPC. | |

| 10. Why can't I pick up items when I am on a team? | |
| Because your team leader has disabled that function for his/her team members. There are three functions he/she can set: money, items and gems. Only the team leader can adjust these settings. When you join a team, please read the system messages. If you have any questions, you should speak to the team leader and have him/her adjust the team settings. | |
| 11. Why do some people have a sun over their heads? | |
| This indicates the team leader. You can ask this person to join his/her team. | |
| 12. I don't want any more players to join my team. | |
| Click 'close team' under your team settings. | |
